Bronwen was born in Seattle, Washington, where she grew up
cultivating a love of dance and the arts. She ventured East to study
art history at Princeton University, where she took her first photo
course under the guidance of Emmet Gowin. Bronwen immediately fell
in love with the medium. The challenge of capturing three-dimensional forms
in a two-dimensional space, as well as finding ways to express
bodies in motion on the static photographic plane drive Bronwen's imagery.
Since graduating in 1999, Bronwen has studied and worked as a
freelance photographer in New York, Boston, and Seattle.
